Set up your Stripe Login Details

1. Your DTM Registered Email address will populate automatically, Press Continue
2. Create a password for your Stripe account and press Submit
3. Set up two-step authentication and verify your login
   • On the phone number open the Google Authenticator APP
   • Tap Add a code
   • Tap scan a QR Code & scan the QR code on your screen
   • Your phone will display a 6 digit code
   • On your computer, press Next
   • Enter the 6 digit code and press Next

Set up Account basic details & Verify your Personal Details

Let’s start with some basics for your account.  

1. Business location: Hong Kong SAR China
2. Business type: Individual
3. Press continue

Enter all your personal information in the form and press Continue.

Add your Business, Payout and Public details

Your Business Details: Specify how you earn money with Don’t Throw Me Limited

1. Industry  enter Retail
2. Your website must be www.dontthrowme.com
3. Product Description enter “We sell second-hand household products”
4. Press Continue

Your Account details: Enter your bank account details to receive earnings from selling your items on DTM.

Selecting the correct Bank branch is very important for your payouts to succeed.  When searching for your bank branch, if you have an HSBC account for example, the branch number is the first 3 digits of your bank card.

Your Public deatils: This information may be visible in your generated stripe receipts or invoices

1. Statement descriptor enter your full name. 
2. Shortened descriptor enter DTM
3. Press continue

Submitting your application

1. Choose your Climate Contribution
   • Select your climate: your commitment is strictly personal and completely optional.
2. Sale Tax, VAT and GST calculation
   • Press Not Right Now
3. Review and submit your application
   • Review all your information and press Agree and Submit

Verify your Email and Log back into your Stripe Account

Check your email inbox for a message from Stripe (if you do not see an email from Stripe, check your Junk or Spam folder)

1. Click on the Verify Email link
2. In Stripe enter your Password and press Continue 
3. To enter the stripe verification code 
   • Open the Google authenticator App on your mobile,
   • Enter the displayed code and press continue

Submitting your ID document for verification

In your stripe Dashboard you will see an action required note “Provide Identity Documents for ….”

1. Click on the Start button in the alert box & in Missing required information click Update
2. Click Verify with photo ID click Agree and Continue
3. Scan QR Code with your phone and follow instructions 

Capture the Front & Back of your ID document

If you cannot capture an image of your ID with your device camera, then click on “Having Trouble” and  take a photo of the front and back of your ID and upload the image then click submit photo.

Is your DTM Stripe account activated?

After you complete submiting your ID for verification, log into your DTM account. If "+Stripe Connect" no longer appears in your user profile, your Stripe registration is successful. You're all set to start selling!
